An innovative combination of yoga and TRE shaking.
I have devised these classes because as a TRE provider and yoga teacher as I regularly see how certain postures activate the body's shaking mechanism during yoga. I have also experienced how pranayama can literally shake you to the core. So by putting the three together this class allows time for releasing your tension by shaking after a gentle traditional yoga and pranayama practice.
Being able to activate your body's shaking mechanism in this way and in a supported and safe environment, will allow you to release any stored tension you might be holding onto.
The class will start with some gentle and grounding yoga postures designed to gently release the psoas muscle and tire out muscles in the legs and pelvis, so that they feel like shaking. This is followed by a 10 minutes of pranayama, focussing on breath holds which can also connect you into your body's shaking mechanism. We will then shake away the stored tension for up to 30 minutes and end the class with a grounding practice.
This class is suitable for regular shakers but beginners are also welcome.
